While the Comstock Epic might not be on my race schedule, it certainly is a race that I would love to do at some point. It is definitely on my “Mountain Bike Bucket List”.
The Comstock Epic is a border to border Mountain Bike Stage Race from Utah to California, Off-highway Across Nevada on the American Discovery Trail Bike Route, 522 miles, 15 Mountain Passes, 9 Days.
The Comstock Epic is billed as ‘The Toughest Mountain Bike Stage Race in North America’, by the promoter, and challenges each participant’s physical, mental and organizational preparedness. The Comstock Epic is an expeditionary 9-day stage race limited to 30 participant entries for 2013. Self-reliance is a must!
