NYCROSS.com Thursday Night Lights

Local cyclocross racing is officially underway!!

NYCROSS.com is excited to bring you short course cx racing under the lights at Troy’s Prospect Park.  Races will be grass crit style training events designed to get your legs and bike up to speed for cx season.  It’ll be a great tuneup for the impending cross season and by far the most fun way to blow the cobb webs off the cx bike.

There will be music (hopefully live) and food from Upstate New York’s most delicious food truck – Slid’in Dirty!  Not only are there burgers delicious, the truck is aptly named to be the food provider for cross racing after dark!

Plus, 100% of race proceeds go to NYCROSS Junior and Elite Development Team Support.  This year they’re supporting a number of fast men, women, and kids who will be racing all over the country and bring the gnarly NYCROSS spirit far and wide.  You’re racing these events not only helps get you fast, but it will help get some very talented and very nice people to some seriously big time events.  Good for you for helping!

There will be overall prizes at the end of the series.  They will keep track of points just like in the NYCROSS.com Series and maybe some left over leaders jerseys from last year will be found and given away too!  Start your season by winning the training series leaders jersey and you’re sure to have a great season!
