Doll (short film)

LOGLINE:

A motionless child’s doll becomes the focus of mounting dread until, in one chilling moment when it finally speaks.

SYNOPSIS:

A quiet living room hides an unsettling secret: a child’s doll perched in an old armchair seems unnervingly alive. As the camera explores the room, the deliberate ticking of an unseen clock and the exaggerated creaks of the floorboards heighten a sense of being watched. Shadows shift and a flickering light teases the room, building mounting tension. Suddenly, the doll looks directly into the camera and speaks in a soft, chilling whisper. The screen goes black, leaving only the echo of a heartbeat and a fading giggle, suggesting that the line between the animate and inanimate has terrifyingly blurred.
