That was another hard and fast Master’s race. The annual Wicked Creepy ‘Cross cyclocross race was held this past weekend at Willow Park in Bennington, VT. Wicked Creepy’Cross is always held on the last Sunday on October and has a bit of a Halloween theme and feel to it…complete with a costume race. This too, is a pretty fast course each year, with this year being no exception. Complete with fast straits, off camber sections, a run-up with an off camber remount (that I always have difficulty with) and a very steep run-up that is almost a climb. As always, I rode my race. I rode as hard as I could and the best I could technically…which, within my cx abilities, isn’t all that bad. I ended up finishing @-1 lap in 20th place. You might think that that isn’t good, but it’s not last and I’ll take it. It’s #howihammer.
